π Now Hiring: Part-Time Russian Language Instructors for Ministry of Defense Training in Tokyo π
We are seeking experienced Russian Language Instructors to provide high-level language training for defense attachΓ© (military diplomat) candidates of the Ministry of Defense in Tokyo. The program aims to develop advanced Russian communication skills for discussions on security, diplomacy, and military affairs.
π About the Position
π Location: In-person in Tokyo (with limited hybrid option)

Contract Period: From the contract start date until March 31, 2027
π Schedule: Flexible shifts. Lesson days and times will be arranged with the student after the contract is finalized.
π€ Lesson Format: 1-on-1 private lessons (1 hour per lesson)
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Russian conversation, reading, and writing using news and current events.
- Provide guidance on presentations and proofread papers related to security and military affairs.
- Create customized learning plans and final evaluation reports.
- Conduct mini-tests during each lesson and provide study guidance.
- Teaching materials will be provided by the company.

Requirements (Must-Have Qualifications)
β At least 1 year of experience teaching Russian.
β Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification (4-year university graduate preferred).
β Daily conversational proficiency in Japanese for administrative communication.
β Must be able to commute to Tansu-machi, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo.
π° Compensation & Benefits
π΄ Hourly Wage:
β’ Online: 1,500 yen/hour
β’ In-person: 2,200 yen/hour (Transportation included)
π’ Lesson Format: Fully online teaching is not permitted. Lessons must be conducted either fully in person or through a hybrid combination of in-person and online instruction.
