Job Description:
Position: High School Assistant Language Teacher (ALT)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive English lessons.
- Prepare and conduct quizzes, assess student progress, and provide feedback.
- Evaluate students’ assignments and participation.
- Maintain a professional appearance (suit and tie required).
- Communicate with Japanese teachers regarding lesson planning and student progress.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (required)
- Native English speaker from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or the Philippines.
- Minimum of 2 years of ALT teaching experience.
- Basic Japanese communication skills to coordinate with school staff.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
- Contract Period: April 2025 - March 2026
- Workdays: Approx. 110 days per year (2-3 days per week)
- Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (7-hour workday, 1-hour lunch break)
- Weekends off, no overtime!
- Salary: ¥2,000 per hour / ¥14,000 per day
- Monthly working hours: Approx. 60-70 hours
- Transportation Allowance: Up to ¥1,000 per day (IC card)
